Milen Day Centre (MDC) is a voluntary based organisation and provides day care for Asian elders in Batley, West Yorkshire. It is managed and directed by an annually elected Management Committee. It is funded by Kirklees Metropolitan Councils Social Services Department.
MDC provides day care in the splendour of Woodwell House in Batley. We have created a set of care standards that reflect our philosophy of care, which is designed to recognise the individual and their history. Therefore, the service provided is sensitive and appropriate to the members needs and this is one of the key factors in the success of Milen Day Centre. |
